Hello!
Rachel, I'm writing you a blog because I thought it would be useful instead of writing millions of emails whenever I think of anything, that way it will remind me when I write emails to you or you can just look here and everythings on here anyway...that way if you get bored of reading it you don't have to hehe! And I can organise it better my emails are so random - because you might be busy busy busy, busy as a bee...
Plus - It's kind of a way of keeping track of things, like a diary, which I was never organised enough to keep up with so this is quite an organisey thing to do so it works for me!!
So - you should now have nearly arrived by my timing (which is not accurate!!)
Right...here goes...
Weather
We have had some amazing kind of rainstorm typical of Great Britishness today, luckily it started about 1o minutes after I got in from school so I just missed a major soakage!
Apart from that it was quite nice earlier - didn't need a coat on, but umbrellas handy.
School
Drama today was pretty funny, I am in a group with Tate, Sam and three other girls - the general idea is that the three blondes me Sam and Tate are on one side of ideas and the three brunettes on the other side, (it is weird having an all girl group I'm not used to it at all - Brave New World and my GCSE piece both had 3 boys in!) today me and Tate were telling the other three about our idea and they didn't get it because they hadn't been there - but there was nothing to get because we hadn't really made much of an idea. But we were fed up with them and they went off to research, and we did random brainstormism - seriously random just for a laugh because we thought it would annoy them when they got back to see we'd written like 'Scotlandism' and 'Rastafarianism' and really random things with 'ism' on the end but actually an idea stemmed from one of it, the idea of The grass is always greener on the other side(ism), and wanting what you can't have kind of thing....the brunettes came back with stuff about religious cults...so now we're stuck again....oooh welll..... Blondes will win this one, we even have a song for the stimulus by Travis it goes 'the grass is always greener on the other side...Neighbours got a new car that you wanna drive.........' rather marvy...
I had English today - I was feeling a bit left out with the talk of Canterbury and there was photo showing etc but it was nice to see them because at least I got some idea of it...mostly people just looked drunk or confused! Which says a lot about my English group hehe!
Mr Fox was very sweet though, as we were leaving he gave me a hug and asked if I was ok, and said he knew it was hard for me that lesson feeling left out, but they'd all forget about it by Wednesday!...everyone was really nice anyway and no one badgered me :P I really love my group....I think we get a revision weekend next year like April/May - (18ism!!) although we have to organise it ourselves mainly because it is like optional but I'm sure Anna will be happy to organise...she is just a bit toooo organising!! She's one of the girls in my Drama group too - the organising is a strength but also a weakness! So anyway that weekend will be like my next challenge - I mean I'll probably do the Ferrers residential again but I've done that so I know what to expect!
Holiday plans
This isn't much chick I know you've only just got to Costa Rica but I'm excited about our venture - tell me if you just want to forget about it for now but otherwise I'm doing bits of research on where we could go, I just want to find out where different places cost etc...and it is helping my geography - and yeah I said I really need to learn to plan ahead a bit!! When we go I say we should go around in costume - I didn't get to wear my Robin Hood style yet so that needs to make an appearance :P
Anyway I'll shut up now and send you the link to this when I remember - not right now I don't want to bombard you but in a couple of days when you've settled a bit more hopefully and got over the mighty jet lag!!
Love you loads, I'm so proud of you Rach!
